How to Use Shrink Wrap Bands for Lip Balm Tins

1. Slide the shrink wrap band over the product you are sealing. If sealing a lid, it works best to have the shrink wrap band extend above the lid slightly so that a secure seal can be made. It should shrink up smoothly on the top of the lid.

2. Point a heat gun at the surface of the shrink wrap band. It will begin shrinking immediately. You may find it works best to direct the heat so that it runs parallel to the surface of the shrink wrap.

3. Move the heat gun over the entire surface of the shrink wrap to ensure it shrinks evenly.

4. Stop when the shrink wrap is stretched taut and is free from wrinkles or puckering.
